Can't believe I had to send my camera in for servicing yesterday. I've only used it on less than 5 occasions and the shutter system has light leaks. Oh and Canon Taiwan is terrible in terms of service. I felt like strangling the Ah Lian a few times.

I love how we always end nights like this with supper.
Here we have porridge, almost teochew style, or the option of soy milk and lovely fritters; in Singapore, roti prata, mee pok, or sometimes the cantonese porridge at bedok 85. Or hongkong cafe along east coast road.
I miss driving my dad's car.

我為妳擔心。
妳雖然把四個兄弟好好的養大成人，妳卻好像不懂得照顧自己。
這點也許我和妳很像。

小時候，節儉的妳會為了我們買了鋼琴，小提琴，
還有我們極少翻閱的全套百科全書。
上中學，妳在售貨員的遊說下給我們買了防電腦紫外線的隨身磁碟，
數不盡的讀物，當然，還有校服，電腦，自行車。
一年，妳只買一次新衣。
在電話的另一端，我聽不出妳承受的皮肉之痛，儘管妳試著描述那肉裡的陣痛。
妳說：“好貴，醫藥費好貴...”
然後妳又說：“對不起，讓你花了那麼多的通話費用。
本來買了一張國際卡...
但我不會用...”
我沒有埋怨妳電話頭中說話的慢速。
妳語氣的穩重平和是我很小的時候察覺而效仿的。
我沒有激動，只有一絲無措...
那種對天氣，對時間，對一呼一吸的無奈。

這幾年來，我一直提醒自己，上街一定要牽著你的手。
離開的時候，妳含蓄的在我背部拍打，叮嚀我要保重，照顧自己。
爸爸很滑稽的跑過來，說：“現在甚麼時代了，要擁抱！”
他擁上來，於是妳也隨後微笑跟著。

整個台北正下著冷雨，
外頭暗淡，無人，
只有汽車馳過水坑的聲音...
還有聽筒中，妳平穩的呼吸。
