Worn out by the third day, New York gave me a headache which only eased out at Central Park which had signs that said 'Quiet Zone'. There was nothing that belonged particularly to New York, and I wonder if it's because it's been replicated everywhere else I can no longer differentiate the original from the non-originals. All I know is, it's difficult to keep up with this city that breathes fast and loud and the only way to like it is to appreciate it from a distance - in pictures, in words, in travel guides, outside your window. Today, I just relished in the thought the it's NEW YORK outside, but I'm staying in and I'm reading a book and eating Chinese takeout.
